Our grass-fed beef is rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, vital nutrients that have been shown to improve cardiovascular and brain health, among other significant benefits. ( SEE GRAPH BELOW ) Additionally, a high ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids, like that found in our beef, has been identified as a contributor to the reduction of risk for many chronic diseases, making our beef one of the healthiest meats you can eat.

And environmentally, unlike the production of conventional beef, First Light Farms practice low density rotational grazing. Early studies and research shows that the low density rotational grazing used by First Light sequesters more carbon than it emits.
